·         Understanding current trends in real estate investing - flipping, short sales, foreclosures, vacation homes, REITs and TICs.
·         How to go about finding a real estate investment, and successfully completing the purchase
·         Issues regarding legal entities
·         Washington Landlord-Tenant Act
·         Long term cash flow and how it affects return on investment
·         Sale of an investment property
·         Section 1031 tax-deferred exchange
 
A calculator is REQUIRED for this course. A preferred calculator is the HP10BII and can be found at almost any office supply store for $30-$35.
