Windermere Cup Regatta
Seattle, Washington: The races are held as part of the celebration of Seattle's Opening Day of Boating Season and are followed by the Seattle Yacht Club's Opening Day Boat Parade. More than 700 rowers compete in this prestigious international event, which culminates with the women's and men's Windermere Cup races. Visit the Windermere Cup Facebook page for more information!
Windermere Marathon & Half-Marathon
Spokane, Washington: Windermere Spokane offices sponsor this scenic point-to-point marathon on the Centennial Trail from Liberty Lake, Washington to Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane, Washington. Participation in this event also supports the efforts of the Windermere Foundation. Due to the ongoing construction project in Riverfront Park, there will not be an event in 2017. Windermere Community Service Day
This nationally recognized volunteer event sees all our offices close for a day of community service. Examples of projects include cleaning, landscaping, and painting senior citizens centers, facilities for physically and mentally challenged children and adults, public parks and schools, low income housing, and emergency shelters.
Windermere SUP Cup
Missoula, Montana: The Windermere SUP Cup, hosted by Windermere Real Estate, is a stand-up paddleboard competition on the Cark Fork River in Missoula, Montana. The event features two races, the Recreational and Elite divisions. Proceeds from this event benefit The Missoula Food Bank – EmPower Program, which provides food for children to eat over the weekends when they are not able to access meals at school. Snohomish Golf Tournament
Everett, Washington: This annual golf tournament, in its 22nd year, is organized by the Snohomish County group of Windermere offices. Proceeds benefit Housing Hope’s ChildHope program initiative which is dedicated to helping homeless and low-income children achieve age-appropriate development, pursue their potential, and ultimately thrive in school and community.
Windermere Legends Golf Tournament
Greater Seattle: Each year Windermere Real Estate hosts the annual golf tournament to benefit the Windermere Foundation and The Don Deasy Memorial Leadership 1000 Scholarship Fund. The tournament honors the memories of four Windermere Legends: Don Deasy, Terry Haberbush, Vince Haugerud, and Wally Starkey.
Windermere Summer Splash at Green Lake
Seattle, Washington: Sponsored by Windermere Real Estate in partnership with the George Pocock Rowing Foundation and Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation, this free community event celebrates summer fun and healthy activities for families.
Windermere Cup Lake Chelan
Chelan, Washington: The Windermere office in Lake Chelan is hosts its first annual Windermere Cup in Lake Chelan, a stand up paddle board event. Proceeds benefit the Chelan Volunteer Fire Department, District 7.
Windermere Stellar Golf Tournament
Portland, Oregon: This annual golf tournament has raised more than a quarter-million dollars since its inception. All proceeds benefit the Windermere Foundation, which supports local non-profit organizations serving low-income women and children.
Snohomish County-Camano Association of Realtors Food Drive
Snohomish County, Washington: Each year, the Alderwood, Edmonds, Everett South, Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, Lynnwood, Marysville, Mill Creek, Monroe and Mukilteo offices collect food donations to benefit local food banks.
3rd Annual Food Drive for Contra Costa & Solano Counties
Walnut Creek & El Sobrante, CA: From October 1 through December 15, agents from the Windermere Walnut Creek-Diablo Realty and Windermere El Sobrante offices collect food for the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano Counties. Nearly 100 agents collect food donations during this drive.
3rd Annual Pick a Pumpkin Feed a Family
Boise, ID: October 21 – November 1. The Windermere Boise-Professionals office purchases pumpkins for the office “pumpkin patch” to be given to those who donate food during the event. Donations benefit The Idaho Foodbank, the largest distributor of free food assistance in Idaho.
Windermere Foundation Golf Classic
Prescott, Arizona: The Prescott-area offices are hosting their 10th annual golf tournament on October 17 to benefit the Windermere Foundation, which directly supports local charities that assist families and children in the greater Prescott area.
Annual Masquerade Charity Ball
Saint Helens, Oregon: Annual masquerade charity ball hosted by the St. Helens and Scappoose offices at the Columbia County Fairgrounds Pavilion on October 22. The night includes live music and dancing, costume contest and both live and silent auctions. Proceeds go to the Windermere Foundation to benefit low-income families and children in Columbia County.
15th Annual Steve Allen Comedy Show
Portland, Oregon: Presented by Windermere Stellar, this annual Legends of Comedy event was created by Joan and Brian Allen to help New Avenues for Youth provide job training, safe shelter, and life skills for kids who want to make a better future for themselves, even after their parents or the foster care system has failed them.
Calm Before the Storm
West Linn, Oregon: November 9. The third annual Windermere Foundation fundraiser organized by the West Linn office. This year’s event is a fashion show fundraiser at Oregon Golf Course.
Share the Warmth Annual Coat & Blanket Drive
Oregon and Southwest Washington: Windermere offices from Oregon and Southwest Washington collect coats and blankets in November through December 16. http://www.wreevents.com/share-the-warmth/
Annual Vashon Food Drive and Basket Brigade
Vashon Island, WA: Since 2000, the Windermere Vashon Island office has sponsored The Basket Brigade, an annual event that provides Thanksgiving meals to families in need. The Sunday before Thanksgiving, agents from the office stand in front of a local grocery store to collect food (or cash) donations for these meals. The Vashon Thriftway and Vashon IGA help provide the turkeys and pies, but the rest of the meal items are donated to the office by members of the community. Agents fill and decorate the baskets, which are then delivered by Saint Vincent de Paul volunteers to the families in time for them to cook Thanksgiving dinner.
Woodinville, WA: For over 10 years, the Windermere Woodinville office has hosted a holiday event at its office featuring photos with Santa and refreshments. This year, the event is part of the November 27 Woodinville Winterfest and includes Woodinville Wine Country wine and beer garden, and local bites. Cash and toy donations collected for The Forgotten Children’s Fund.
Windermere Wreath Fundraiser
Ellensburg, WA: Sales start November 28 until supplies last. Stop by the Windermere office in Ellensburg to purchase a fresh, full, fragrant 24” wreath handmade by Snowshoe Evergreen. This annual fundraiser benefits children in need in Kittitas County.
Fourth Annual Live and Silent Auction for Children’s Justice Center
Vancouver, WA: Windermere Stellar offices in Vancouver hosts “An Evening with The Great Gatsby,” their fourth annual live and silent auction to benefit the Children’s Justice Center. Through the Windermere Foundation, over $481,300 has been donated to the CJC over the past four years, which has helped them expand their family outreach and support program.
Free Santa Photos & Dickens Carolers
Lake Forest Park, Washington: December 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Stop by the Windermere Northlake office for free photos with Santa. Food donation items being accepted to benefit Hopelink.
Windermere Foundation Annual Silent Auction
Portland, Oregon: December 5. Hosted by the Windermere Raleigh Hills office. Bid on holiday gifts or treats at this annual silent auction benefitting the Windermere Foundation. Enjoy appetizers and beverages served in the spirit of the season.
5th Annual Gingerbread House Contest
Wailea, HI: The Windermere Wailea office hosts its 5th Annual Gingerbread House Contest to benefit the Windermere Foundation. Drop by their office in the Shops at Wailea to view all the gingerbread houses created by the office’s agents and their families, and cast a vote for your favorite one. Voting ends on December 20. Ballots submitted will be entered into a raffle drawing for a $100 gift certificate. For every live/in-person vote cast in the office, a dollar will be donated to the Windermere Foundation.
8th Annual Spaghetti Feed/Auction
Snohomish, Washington: December 10. Hosted by the Windermere Snohomish office, this is a fun community event with live music, where Windermere brokers will also cook and serve the meals. Tickets are $10 for a full dinner with dessert. Proceeds benefit the Snohomish Food Bank.
Windermere Professional Partners Holiday Food Drive
Pierce County, WA: Each year, the Windermere Professional Partners offices in North Tacoma, Central Tacoma, University Place, and Gig Harbor hold an annual food drive to support a local food bank. All four office locations serve as donation drop-off sites, and agents also distribute paper bags throughout the community for the public to fill and bring in donations. This year the drive supports FISH Food Bank in Gig Harbor, as well as Families Unlimited Network in University Place.
