Licensed since 1978 representing sellers and purchasers in Pierce, Kitsap, Mason, King, Snohomish, Chelan, Pacific and Kittitas counties. Knowledgeable about land use, waterfront and agricultural issues. Together with my wife, Pauli, own and have owned real estate in Pierce, Kitsap, Pacific and Chelan counties. Owner of Bay Vista Condominiums and other rental properties in Gig Harbor. Understand value of home ownership and helping clients achieve their goals. Peninsula native. Daughter, Jennifer Ivester, joined team as partner in 2014. We are devoted to assisting our clients achieve their goals in acquiring, managing and selling their real estate properties.

Educator

Retired as Chair of Arts and Humanities Division at Pierce College/Director of Choral Music Activities (1973-2001). Taught Real Estate Fundamentals and RE 120 at Pierce College through the CE program. UW Husky Marching Band Assistant and Script Writer for 21 years. Taught in K-12 system at Manson, WA and Central Kitsap for 9 years (1964-73). A quality education is vital for every child and adult in our country. Recipient of the Most Outstanding Faculty Award, and Award of Distinction by Washington State Humanities Association.

Musician

Graduate of Olympic College (1961) and holding BA (1964) & MA (1970) degrees from CWU in Music. Member of Part Predominant Recordings studio singers, played keyboard for many years in casual quartet "The Uncalled Four" led by Bob Moawad and member of the seasonal quartet "ChristmaSing" led by Jennifer Ivester. Studied with Ralph Manzo, Wendell Jones, Ralph Mutchler, Dick Norton, Bert Christianson, Mary Elizabeth Whitner, Bob Panerio. Worked at the UW Husky Band with Bill Bissell.

Community Service

Support Windermere's Community Service activities, Gig Harbor Historical Society, and have served as President and Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Fox Island Chapel Preservation Society (Chapel On Echo Bay). Have 5 grown children (all graduates of Gig Harbor HS), 11 active grandchildren and supporting their activities is an important part of my life. Member WMEA Hall of Fame. Advisor to many on real estate matters. Resident of Fox Island. Member of Fox Island Historical Society and the Gig Harbor Historical Museum.
