Melissa got the job done for us! We contracted with her and Windermere after an initial unsuccessful listing with another agent and brokerage. All houses have positives and negatives to some people, and negatives and positives to others; Melissa understood we were done with making additional pre-listing improvements, and that her job was to market the features of our house to those it would appeal to. She has a fantastic supporting team (assistant Shawna, handyman Steve, and the miracle workers at Rost Staging) - all top notch. Between the work we undertook and the work she and her team undertook, our house showed much better during her listing. Melissa wasn't always the most communicative with us (often responding only by email, and not for a few days), but competence and results matter more. She had good ideas of how to present our house, and worked hard to do it. Our house sold in six weeks and for a price we were happy with. We would recommend Melissa to anyone looking to sell their home in Shoreline.

Working with Melissa and her team was fantastic! Early in the process, Melissa took the time to understand what we were looking for in our next home and would proactively send us homes to look at even when we weren't actively looking - we knew we wanted to move but weren't on a timeline and could take the time to find our dream home. It was low pressure and Melissa made home buying fun, not stressful. And then she found us our new home when we weren't expecting to find anything - and help us move fast to make sure we secured our new home. It was a new construction and she was there to support and help communicate with the builders as needed. After moving into our new home, Melissa helped us sell our first home. We had never sold a home before so having her guide us through the process was much appreciated. We were busy working parents with toddler and another on the way having just moved into a new house... we didn't have the time or mental capacity to focus on selling our home. Melissa and her team stepped up and really took care of everything! In addition, the sale was very complicated due to some legal matters we were wrapping up. Melissa worked hard to make sure that the communication with everyone (and I mean EVERYONE - buyers agents, lenders, escrow, escrow legal, our attorneys, etc) was clear and did everything in her power to make sure we closed! We appreciate everything Melissa and her team did for us and recommend her to all our friends! If we ever buy another home, we are definitely working with Melissa!

Melissa exceeded our expectations. We were not "first time home owners" - we were purchasing our 5th home in our 3rd state. Not only were we hesitant to sell (due to work we had to relocate) we were even more hesitant in purchasing due to the housing market in King County. Our neighbor had sold her home a year prior in less than 3 days! When we asked her for an Amazing Real Estate agent - she sent us to Melissa! The first night Melissa came to our home, we felt Relaxed - Heard - Educated! Selling our home - she and her team ROCKED!! Honestly, we rolled our eyes more than once on the "to do" list that was created in preparation for the selling. But guess what - our home sold in a WEEKEND. THANK YOU. Not only did we receive more than the listed price, she also negotiated the "extension" for us to live there an additional two months! Purchasing our new home - at first, we were hesitant to use the same agent. We thought it would be better to have an agent closer to where we were purchasing in Issaquah. After a few interactions with Melissa - we knew her business savvy reputation and open communication would actually benefit us more than the home office location of an unknown agent. Melissa once again showed her tenure and professionalism as an agent. Melissa is a force! I cannot recommend her enough. My husband and I are first time homebuyers, and were pretty green to the entire process. I recently had the privilege of working with Melissa to purchase our first home! I was on a time crunch with a baby coming in a few months and she wasted no time. We struck out our first day, but we had a blast with her in the car and was able to really pin point what was important to our family. She was extremely responsive and wasn't afraid to contact non-responsive listing agents. Melissa took the time to go through many homes with us, helping us educate ourselves on what the value of homes in the market were, and looking for pitfalls that could cause trouble down the road. Then when helping us sell, Melissa helped us stage the house and get it set up so that we were able to successfully sell the home in just a few days.
