Born and raised in New York City(Bklyn) and Long Island. BS Degree from the State University of New York at Cortland. Flight attendant for Northwest Orient Airlines, based in Seattle. Travels: Europe, Soviet Union, Middle East, US/Alaska, Japan, Carribean & Mexico. Lived in London with our family for 15 months while husband was on a Fulbright sabbatical . School Teacher: Grade 6-Adams Elementary School, Seattle (Ballard); Grade 4-Manhasset, Long Island, while husband attended Columbia University for his Masters Degree. Substitute Teacher all grade levels: kindergarten through high school (Shoreline & Seattle)

Licensed in 1974, worked for: West & Wheeler, Henry Broderick - Coldwell Banker, Olympic Properties, Windermere Real Estate. Produced & distributed: "The Richmond Beach Homeowner" (monthly, for two years) Taken many classes, attended many lectures & seminars on real estate, including GRI (Graduate of the Realtors institute 100)before required.

Community Activities

Former member of Shoreline School District's Citizen Levy Advisory Committee after Shorline's one and only failure. Appointed to King County Shoreline Community Plan committee which developed 10 year growth plans for Shoreline. Since established, was appointed to and served 20 years on the Selective Service Borad #19. Former member of M.A.D.D. Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, Shoreline Chamber of Commerce, Committee to have Gifted Programs in Shoreline Schools, Instrumental in having the blinking stop light installed on 15th NW & 20th NW &Richmond Beach Road. Former P.C. Credentials Chairman & delegate to State Convention of Political Party. Resident of Richmond Beach since 1964 & still a continuous and active member of Richmond Beach Community Club. Former Board member of the King County Board of Appeals/Equalization. Continuous member of the Shoreline Historical Museum. Resident of Innis Arden since 1987 and has attended every board meeting, plus numerous extra meetings when not in conflict with real estate business and vacations. Former member of Shoreline citizens committee to relocate/mitigate Metro North End Bus Base in Shoreline.

Member of the World Affairs Council. The Council for the National Interest, United Nations Association U.S.A. Government Affairs Committee. The Foreign Policy Institute. The Savings & Loan Bail Out & Bank Reform Committee w/John Hinterberger from the Seattle Times & Mike Segal from King Radio. 10 year volunteer for King County Superior Court Conference Diversion Program. Former member of Vision Shoreline the citizens committee to study the incorporation of Shoreline: revenue, zoning and land use committees. King County Voter Deputy Registration Officer. Worked to keep our local Post Office in Richmond Beach, personally found & negotiated new location. Progress Shoreline Committee. A trained Shoreline CERT - Community Emergency Response Team & Sky Warn Weather Spotter.
